Summerside Residents Association 2024 Annual Fees
Dear Lake Summerside Community Member,
As a valued member of the Lake Summerside community, your participation in the Summerside Residents Association (SSRA) is greatly appreciated. The SSRA is committed to cultivating a thriving community and managing our shared resources for the collective benefit of all residents.
The notice for your SSRA 2024 annual fees, along with a detailed breakdown of the fees, is available on our website at https://www.lakesummerside.ca/. The 2024 fees include a modest increase that has been thoughtfully approved by the SSRA Board of Directors.
We kindly remind you that annual fees are due by January 1, 2024, with interest only being applied to outstanding balances after January 31, 2024. This provides you until January 31, 2024, to submit your payment without incurring interest charges. Accounts with outstanding balances will be referred to Field Law for collection on April 1, 2024, incurring additional lawyer and service fees.
Your timely payment plays an essential role in maintaining and enhancing our community. Membership fees directly contribute to the upkeep of facilities such as the popular Beach Club, a social and recreational hub for Summerside residents. Additionally, your fees support a rich variety of community events, activities, and the ongoing maintenance of the Summerside Connect website. The Association takes pride in owning and maintaining numerous amenities, including trails, parks, the lake, the Beach Club, Entry Park, lake access ways, and entry features, all of which enhance the quality of life in Lake Summerside.
In our effort to streamline communications and adopt environmentally friendly practices, the Summerside Residents Association aims to transition to paperless communication. Moving forward, we encourage you to
register for electronic notifications and communications via our website at https://www.lakesummerside.ca/. By doing so, you will receive all future communications, including fee notices and community updates, digitally.
Your commitment to submitting your payment before the January 31, 2024 deadline is pivotal in ensuring the sustained maintenance and enhancement of our community resources and events. We deeply appreciate your continued support in preserving our vibrant community atmosphere.
Methods of Payment
1. CASH, CHEQUE, DEBIT, and/or CREDIT CARD – 9:00 am-5:00 pm Monday to Friday;
2. CHEQUE – Mailed to the address listed below. Please make your cheque payable to the Summerside Residents Association; OR ONLINE –https://www.lakesummerside.ca/
3. (Click on ‘Pay Your Fees’). Please note there is a 3% transaction fee to use the online payment system.
4. TELEPAY – Call in your payment to 780.784.1429. Please check your invoice for a unique access code.
Please note, online and telepay payments are only available until January 31, 2024, at which time, payments must be made per above.
